Jewellery Outfits

Jewellery is the icing on a delicious two-tier Victoria sponge cake. Without the jewellery, an outfit is incomplete. Often, you get in the habit of wearing the same pieces, as they are reliable and always look good. However, maybe it's time to try something new this summer. I write a lot about Moda de la Maria’s designs, but not much about the jewellery. These pieces are vintage-inspired, using gorgeously vibrant stones. Unlike most regular everyday jewellery, they are made to stand out. To help you style them I have come up with a few outfits using them as the focal point.

 Labradorite earrings

This first outfit stars the Green & Blue Labradorite Earrings. These are made with authentic Labradorite stones, 925 silver sterling and they are also 18K gold plated. For this outfit I've kept the season in mind, creating a simple poolside look. Starting with a classic One Piece Swimsuit by Tommy Hilfiger. This flattering v-neckline works for all figures. Accessorizing with, of course, our Labradorite Earrings, a patterned Sarong Scarf from Boden and a Floppy Hat from Mint Velvet. This ensemble is comfortable and easily achieved with many classic staples.

 Amethyst set

This outfit is for these hot summer nights. When I found this Free People Maxi Dress I knew exactly what to pair it with - the Moda de la Maria Enamel Amethyst Gold Jewellery set. Having a plain base colour is like an empty canvas, which means you can go mad with styling. Therefore, for this piece, I have incorporated these showstopper statement accessories. This jewellery set is Victorian inspired and handcrafted with Amethyst Gemstones. Finishing off the outfit with these Spanish Wedge Espadrilles from Jigsaw. Espadrilles are a wardrobe essential for the summer. Due to the excitement of the dress and jewellery, this nude tone is perfect. However, if you love colour as I do, maybe pull out some of the colours in the Amethyst and wear some pink or green heels.

 Amazonite set

The third and final outfit was crafted with a casual day out in mind. Starting with what we all have - an Organic Cotton V-Neck T-Shirt from The White Company. Tucked into a Slim Satin Maxi Skirt. This Calvin Klein skirt drew me in with its asymmetric seams and flattering thigh slit. Partnered with these two-toned Fit Flop Flatform Trainers. And of course, what you’ve all been waiting for, a Moda de la Maria Amazonite Gold Necklace, Earrings and Ring set. These stunning pieces are inspired by Edwardian ornaments, offering a unique vintage style.

These outfits are only the beginning of what you can do with Moda de la Maria jewellery. The possibilities are endless. For that distinctive vintage touch, you know where to look!
