In the heart of London, under the warm glow of studio lights, a truly special moment unfolded—a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the unwavering pursuit of dreams. I had the incredible honour of being invited to the ALB TV Life Show, interviewed by the esteemed Ian Pelham-Turner and the wonderful Helena Chard. This was more than just an interview; it was a heartfelt conversation about passion, perseverance, and the artistry behind Moda de la Maria.
The stage was set in collaboration with the visionary millinery designer, Mizi Atelier, whose exquisite hats adorned the studio with a touch of timeless elegance. As I sat before the cameras, I felt a wave of gratitude wash over me. This was an opportunity to share my journey—one that began with a deep love for craftsmanship and evolved into a brand that embodies sustainability, heritage, and modernity.
As the interview unfolded, we spoke about the meticulous process behind each garment at Moda de la Maria. From hand-cut patterns to the finest natural fabrics, every piece is a testament to dedication and authenticity. I shared stories of inspiration—how the textures of nature, the whispers of history, and the strength of the women who wear my designs shape every collection.
Ian and Helena’s questions delved into the heart of my journey. They wanted to know what fuels my creativity, what challenges I’ve overcome, and what dreams lie ahead. It was an emotional and uplifting conversation, filled with laughter, reflection, and a deep appreciation for the art of fashion.
As we spoke, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far Moda de la Maria has come. From the early days of sketching designs at my kitchen table to seeing my creations worn by women who appreciate the beauty of slow fashion, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Sharing this space with Mizi Atelier made the experience even more special. Fashion is not just about garments—it’s about the stories they tell, the emotions they evoke, and the confidence they inspire. Together, we celebrated the artistry that makes fashion a powerful form of self-expression.
As the interview concluded, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. Moda de la Maria is more than a brand—it’s a movement. A movement that honours craftsmanship, embraces sustainability and empowers women to feel their absolute best.
Walking away from the studio that day, I knew this was just the beginning of an even greater journey. And as Moda de la Maria continues to grow, I carry with me the support, the inspiration, and the unwavering belief that true artistry stands the test of time.
